At the Hoch-Imst ski resort, night becomes day several times a week. On Wednesdays and Saturdays*, Imster Bergbahnen (the mountain railway of Imst) invites all guests to partake in a night full of skiing, tobogganing and cross-country skiing under the moonlit sky of Imst. Cosy get together in Untermarkter Alm and at Latschenhütte included!

Night-time skiing

The decent from Untermarkter Alm is one of the longest lit slopes in all of Tyrol. Both skiers and snowboarders can appreciate the night-time snow conditions on the pristine slopes.

The magic of being on the pistes under a starry night sky: Adventurous night owls will be in in their element on Wednesday and Saturday evenings in Hoch-Imst. On both of these evenings, the decent from Untermarkter Alm sparkles in the floodlight. Skiers and snowboarders alike can take this opportunity to carve some powder on one of the longest lit ski slopes in Tyrol. Pit stop at Latschenhütte included.

Night tobogganing

Ten kilometres available for tobogganing on two of the best prepared natural togoggan runs, starting at the ski resort at Hoch-Imst and decending into the valley at night.

Along the way on the 4km long, lit toboggan run, Untermarkter Alm becomes home toboggan parties in the moonlight mountains. The route is lit up until 2 am on Wednsdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and the chair lift continues to run between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The starting point for the Obermarkter Alm natural toboggan run is located 20 minutes away from the Imster Bergbahn halfway station, right next to the Latschenhütte, and winds down for 6 kilometres until reaching its end in the valley. This is also perfect for night owls, but don't forget: a headlamp is strongly recommended!
