Southwest of the Alpjoch mountain station, a spacious wooden panorama terrace awaits hikers and day excursionists. Once there, you should spend some time, take deep breaths and enjoy the sun at lofty heights. The cosy seating and comfortable loungers are the perfect setting to admire the fantastic view of Imst and the Gurgltal valley in peace and quiet.
Enjoy an eagle’s perspective of Imst: A few metres after the access to the Drischlsteig path at the Alpjoch, the daringly constructed viewing platform offers a completely new birds-eye-perspective and opens up alpine views. Cantilevering over the deeply sloping rocks, this experience is only suitable for those with a good head for heights. A 13m-long footbridge leads to the impressive steel construction, which is supported by an eight-metre-high pillar. Ready for an eagle’s view?
