The family-friendly Hoch-Imst region in Tyrol is a rewarding destination excursion destination for families and pleasure seekers, both in the summer as well as in the winter. The summer highlight is doubtlessly the Alpine Coaster Imst. You can get to the Imster Bergbahnen in an environmentally friendly way by taking the ski or hiking bus. If you want to get there by car, there are two large car parks. Just around the corner, there are the first two highlights and insider tips: the Hoch-Imst natural lake and the Family Park. You can get up the mountain in a sporty fashion using your own muscle power or comfortably and conveniently by taking the new, spacious 10-seater panorama gondola lift.
Hiking, biking, trail running, orienteering and climbing are among the most popular activities in the summer and can also be tackled by families from the grandchildren to the grandparents. The Buddy's Little Alpine Friends and quaint huts are ideal for taking a break and enjoying culinary delicacies. The crowning finish: a ride with the legendary Alpine Coaster Imst, the world’s longest alpine roller coaster. Once the mountains and the treetops are covered in white, the two natural toboggan runs are serious contenders for the fastest downhill run. Ski mountaineers, winter hikers, cross-country skiers and ice skating fans find opportunities in Hoch-Imst too.
